Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII)
The Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) is the reference for infectious diseases in Spain. It has responsibilities in basic and clinical research, epidemiological surveillance and control of outbreaks including emergent diseases. More than 300 workers collaborate directly in these tasks at the National Centre of Microbiology (CNM).
In the ISCIII it will be set up the central platform for the screening of neutralizing antibodies obtained by different immunogens in animal models and clinical trials. In addition, researchers of Dr. Alcamí group will contribute in the design of new immunogens based on virus transmitted in the acute infection.http://www.hiv-lab.com/index.php
