University Joseph Fourier, Grenoble
The Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS), located on the EPN campus in Grenoble is a public research centre funded by the University Joseph Fourier, the CEA and the CNRS. IBS researchers have access to state of the art facilities such as electron microscopy, NMR, biophysical instrumentation, protein expression, high throughput crystallization and synchrotron X-ray beam lines to perform structural and functional biology projects.
The IBS will design and characterize novel gp41 immunogens that can induce broadly neutralizing antibodies targeting the conserved membrane proximal external region of the envelope glycoprotein subunit gp41.
